Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative healthcare.
Perform routine wellness examinations and vaccination programmes.
Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical and surgical cases.
Develop personalised treatment plans for patients.
Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and the local community.
Collaborate with veterinary nurses, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Pursue and develop individual clinical interests with ongoing professional support.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited veterinary school.
Active veterinary licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
Current DEA licence or eligibility to obtain.
USDA Accreditation or willingness to obtain following employment.
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
