Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and preventative healthcare services.

  • Diagnose and treat medical conditions using evidence-based veterinary practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.

  • An active Arizona veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one before starting.

  • Current DEA licence.

  • Current controlled substance licence where applicable.

  • USDA Category I Accreditation or willingness to complete within the required timeframe.

  • Confidence performing anaesthesia and routine surgical procedures, including:

    • Canine and feline spays.

    • Neuters.

    • Mass removals.

    • Dental procedures.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
