A veterinary practice is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its general practice team in Boise, Idaho.

This is a small animal general practice focused on providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine, excellent client service and a collaborative team environment.

Modern equipment includes a new surgical table, new dental equipment, ultrasound and dental X-ray, supporting a varied general practice caseload.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive preventive, medical and general veterinary care to small animal patients.
Perform physical examinations, diagnostic investigations and medical work-ups and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide preventive healthcare recommendations and support patients throughout different stages of life.
Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients through clear communication, education and compassionate care.
Perform appropriate general practice procedures using the hospital's diagnostic, dental and surgical equipment.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
Collaborate effectively with veterinarians, technicians and support professionals to maintain high standards of patient care and team efficiency.
Participate in continuing education, mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, an appropriate Idaho veterinary licence in good standing before commencing employment.
An active DEA licence or eligibility to obtain DEA registration is also required.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative and accountable, with a commitment to delivering excellent patient care and positive client experiences.
Strong communication skills and an interest in building lasting relationships with clients and their pets are important.

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus production (from $150,000 - $170,000)
