Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive examinations and develop treatment plans for small animal patients
Diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
Deliver preventative healthcare and wellness services
Educate clients on treatment options, preventative care, nutrition, and behavioural health
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Collaborate closely with veterinary nurses and support staff
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture
Uphold high standards of medical care and client service
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed in Massachusetts or eligible for veterinary licensure in the state
Experience in small animal general practice preferred
Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills
Commitment to fear-free, patient-centred care
Excellent communication and client relationship-building abilities
Collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
