A well-established AAHA-accredited veterinary practice in Charleston, West Virginia is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their supportive and collaborative team. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical care for companion animals, exotics and pocket pets.
Perform routine consultations and preventative healthcare.
Carry out surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience.
Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
Develop treatment plans and communicate effectively with pet owners.
Work collaboratively with experienced veterinarians and support staff.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Deliver outstanding client service while promoting exceptional patient care.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.
Eligibility for, or an active, West Virginia veterinary licence.
A passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An interest in continuous professional development.
New graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply alongside experienced veterinarians.
DEA licence and USDA Accreditation are beneficial but not essential.
