Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care for small animal patients
Conduct wellness, preventative care, sick, and diagnostic appointments
Diagnose and manage a varied range of medical conditions
Perform routine surgical procedures
Develop appropriate and practical treatment plans based on individual patient needs
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventative healthcare
Work closely with veterinary technicians and other clinical team members
Maintain accurate medical records and excellent clinical standards
Participate in continued professional development and mentorship where appropriate
Candidate Profile
Candidates should hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited university and have an active New York veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one.
A current DEA licence and USDA accreditation are preferred but are not required at the time of application.
The successful candidate will be passionate about small animal veterinary medicine, comfortable working collaboratively, and committed to providing excellent patient and client care.
