Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive preventative, medical, and surgical care for small animal patients
Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Educate clients on preventative care, treatment options, and ongoing pet health
Build strong relationships with pet owners through empathy and clear communication
Collaborate with veterinary professionals and support staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes
Utilise modern equipment and diagnostic capabilities to deliver high-quality medicine
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold professional standards of care
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
New York State veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain licensure
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care
An interest in surgery, client education, and collaborative medicine
A team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
Experience with exotics or alternative medicine is welcomed but not required.
