Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for:
Providing high-quality small animal veterinary care using current medical standards and treatment protocols.
Performing wellness examinations, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and medical procedures.
Building strong relationships with clients through education and compassionate communication.
Maintaining accurate medical records and detailed patient documentation.
Managing appointments and caseloads while delivering exceptional patient care.
Collaborating with the veterinary team to support a positive hospital culture.
Participating in community outreach, hospital initiatives, and professional development activities.
Supporting and mentoring veterinary support staff as appropriate.
Following all veterinary practice regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent qualification.
An active Colorado veterinary licence in good standing.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering excellent veterinary medicine.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and continued education.
