Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose and manage medical conditions
Perform wellness examinations and preventative care services
Operate diagnostic equipment and collect samples for testing

Advise clients on preventative healthcare and treatment options
Perform surgical procedures and prescribe medications when appropriate

Maintain accurate patient medical records

Candidate Profile

A DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
