Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality preventative, medical and surgical care to veterinary patients.
Perform comprehensive examinations and develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
Manage routine wellness appointments, general medical cases and urgent presentations.
Perform general soft tissue surgical procedures according to experience and clinical confidence.
Utilise in-house laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging and other available clinical technology.
Communicate diagnoses, treatment options and preventative healthcare recommendations clearly with pet owners.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and the wider clinical support team.
Maintain high standards of patient welfare, client service and veterinary medicine.
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited veterinary university.
An active Arkansas veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one is required, alongside a DEA licence or the ability to obtain one. USDA accreditation is preferred, although veterinarians willing to obtain accreditation will also be considered.
The practice is looking for a compassionate and collaborative veterinarian with strong communication skills and an interest in delivering excellent patient and client care.
Candidates should be comfortable with general veterinary medicine and surgery appropriate to their experience level.
