  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions and injuries

  • Perform surgical and dental procedures as appropriate

  • Provide care for companion animals and exotic patients

  • Utilise diagnostic equipment and interpret laboratory results

  • Collect diagnostic samples and develop appropriate treatment plans

  • Educate clients on preventative healthcare and long-term wellness plans

  • Provide compassionate end-of-life care guidance when needed

  • Maintain accurate medical records and follow veterinary standards and regulations

  • Collaborate with an experienced veterinary team to deliver exceptional patient care

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution

  • An active veterinary licence in Iowa, or the ability to obtain one

  • Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD licensing

  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
