Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and preventative healthcare

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions

  • Perform routine and advanced soft tissue surgical procedures

  • Carry out routine and complex dental procedures, including extractions

  • Manage hospitalised patients and coordinate referrals where appropriate

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification

  • Active veterinary licence or eligibility for licensure in Arkansas

  • DEA licence or eligibility to obtain

  • USDA accreditation (or ability to obtain)

  • Confidence performing routine surgery and dentistry

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
