Responsibilities

  • Perform general practice procedures appropriate to experience and clinical ability.

  • Educate clients regarding preventative care, diagnoses and treatment recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.

  • Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff.

  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

  • Maintain high standards of veterinary medicine, ethics and patient care.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent veterinary qualification.

  • A current veterinary license or eligibility to practice in North Carolina.

  • Strong communication and client education skills.
