A veterinary practice is seeking an Associate Veterinarian in Honeoye Falls, New York, just outside Rochester, to join a collaborative and well-established small animal team.

Veterinarians are supported by a fully staffed and highly trained team of Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) and veterinary assistants, allowing doctors to focus their time on clinical decision-making and patient care.
The hospital operates with 30-minute appointment times and effective support staff utilisation, helping provide a manageable workflow while maintaining high standards of client communication and medicine.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality small animal medical and preventative care
Conduct consultations and comprehensive clinical examinations
Investigate, diagnose, and manage a varied caseload
Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
Utilise diagnostic imaging and in-house clinical resources
Develop appropriate treatment and preventative healthcare plans
Build strong relationships with clients and their pets
Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly and compassionately
Collaborate closely with veterinarians, LVTs, and veterinary assistants
Maintain accurate clinical records
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Contribute positively to a collaborative practice culture
Candidate Profile
Candidates should hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary qualification and possess, or be eligible to obtain, New York State veterinary licensure.
