Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for canine and feline patients.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
Diagnose medical conditions and develop personalised treatment plans.
Perform routine surgical procedures and dentistry.
Educate clients on preventative healthcare, treatment options, and long-term wellness.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
Collaborate with veterinary nurses, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Support the ongoing development of the veterinary support team.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine, treatments, protocols, and technology.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
Active veterinary licensure in Texas.
Current DEA licence or the ability to obtain one before starting.
USDA Accreditation or willingness to obtain following employment.
Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
A compassionate, collaborative, and client-focused approach to veterinary medicine.
A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and continuous professional development.
