A brand-new veterinary urgent care clinic in Knoxville, Tennessee is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to help launch and grow a modern, state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality urgent care services, including diagnostics, treatment, and minor procedures.

  • Manage a diverse caseload, including companion animals and exotics.

  • Triage cases and ensure efficient patient flow.

  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

  • Collaborate with support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

  • Contribute to building a positive, team-driven culture within a new clinic environment.

  • Support mentoring and development of team members where applicable.

Candidate Profile

  • DVM or equivalent from an accredited university.

  • Active (or eligible) state veterinary license.

  • 5+ years of veterinary experience preferred.

  • DEA license and USDA accreditation (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in urgent care or general practice.

  • Interest or experience in exotic animal medicine is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Motivated to contribute to the growth and success of a new clinic.
