Associate Veterinarian – Urgent Care

Schedule: Full-time (Flexible, No Overnight Shifts)
Compensation: $140,000 to $170,000 salary + sign-on bonus + performance incentives

A brand-new veterinary urgent care clinic in Knoxville, Tennessee is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to help launch and grow a modern, state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality urgent care services, including diagnostics, treatment, and minor procedures.
Manage a diverse caseload, including companion animals and exotics.
Triage cases and ensure efficient patient flow.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Collaborate with support staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Contribute to building a positive, team-driven culture within a new clinic environment.
Support mentoring and development of team members where applicable.
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university.
Active (or eligible) state veterinary license.
5+ years of veterinary experience preferred.
DEA license and USDA accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in urgent care or general practice.
Interest or experience in exotic animal medicine is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Motivated to contribute to the growth and success of a new clinic.
