Responsibilities
Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning for companion animals
Deliver preventative care and manage medical cases across general practice
Carry out routine and complex surgical procedures (including spays, neuters, and mass removals)
Perform dental procedures including full oral exams, radiographic evaluation, and extractions
Develop and manage comprehensive patient treatment plans
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in line with clinical standards
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care
Participate in clinical rounds and team collaboration discussions
Support continuity of care with referral hospitals when required
Candidate Profile
Qualified Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent)
Active or eligible New Hampshire veterinary licence
Comfortable performing general surgery and dentistry (or willing to develop skills)
Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic ability
Excellent communication and client education skills
Team-oriented and adaptable in a structured clinical environment
Able to remain composed in high-pressure or emotionally sensitive situations
DEA licence and USDA accreditation preferred but not required
