Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and treat small animal patients
Utilize diagnostic equipment to evaluate and interpret laboratory and imaging results
Perform soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
Educate pet owners on preventive care and treatment options
Provide compassionate end-of-life care counseling
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, regulations, and hospital protocols
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a veterinarian who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing high-quality patient care.
Candidates should possess:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited university
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Louisiana
Eligibility to obtain DEA licensure
Minimum of two years of clinical experience
