Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
Deliver exceptional preventative, medical, and surgical care to companion animals.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic work-ups.
Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures according to your experience and interests.
Educate clients on preventative healthcare and treatment options.
Maintain accurate medical records and controlled drug protocols.
Collaborate with veterinary nurses, support staff, and practice leadership to ensure outstanding patient care.
Participate in hospital rounds, protocol development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and compassionate care.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary qualification.
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Texas.
DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
Excellent diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
A collaborative approach to veterinary medicine.
A commitment to delivering exceptional patient and client care.
