Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
Deliver exceptional medical, surgical, and preventative healthcare to companion animals.
Build lasting relationships with clients through a compassionate, relationship-focused approach.
Manage a varied caseload of consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.
Collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians, technicians, and hospital leadership.
Contribute to the development and mentoring of support staff.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
Participate in promoting a positive, collaborative, and patient-centred hospital culture.
Engage with the local community while helping grow the practice.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE programme.
Active veterinary licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for delivering high-quality companion animal medicine.
Confidence managing medical and surgical cases or a desire to develop these skills through mentorship.
A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous professional growth.
