Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostics, and preventive care for companion animals

  • Develop diagnostic and treatment plans using a problem-based medical approach

  • Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays/neuters and mass removals

  • Perform dental procedures, including radiograph interpretation and extractions

  • Manage hospitalized patients and coordinate continuity of care when needed

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

  • Collaborate closely with hospital leadership, veterinarians, and support staff

  • Provide exceptional client communication and education

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license or eligibility to practice in Nebraska

  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain

  • Comfortable performing routine surgical and dental procedures

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, collaborative, and team-oriented approach
