Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for:
Providing comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals.
Diagnosing and treating medical conditions and injuries.
Performing examinations, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications.
Building trusted relationships with clients through education and compassionate communication.
Collaborating with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Educating clients on preventative medicine, vaccinations, nutrition, parasite control, and early disease detection.
Maintaining accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Supporting a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement and medical excellence.
Staying current with advancements in veterinary medicine.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification.
A current California veterinary licence in good standing.
An active DEA licence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making abilities.
A passion for delivering compassionate patient care.
Confidence with diagnostics, treatment planning, and modern veterinary technology.
