Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality small animal veterinary care
Conduct consultations and comprehensive physical examinations
Diagnose and manage a varied general practice caseload
Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans
Provide preventative healthcare and client education
Perform medical and surgical procedures within your experience
Exercise appropriate clinical autonomy when managing patients
Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners
Develop long-term relationships with clients and patients
Collaborate effectively with veterinary and support colleagues
Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records
Participate in continuing education and professional development
Candidate Profile
Candidates should hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary qualification and possess, or be eligible to obtain, New York State veterinary licensure.
