Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient examinations and medical workups
Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals
Perform surgical and dental procedures
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
Support hospital workflow, patient care standards, and team collaboration
Participate in hospital rounds, training, and continuing education initiatives
Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and hospital leadership
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
Licensed or eligible to practice in California
DEA registration or ability to obtain
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to medicine
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care
Interest in mentorship and continued professional growth
