Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and preventative healthcare services.
Diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions in companion animals.
Develop diagnostic and treatment plans using a problem-oriented medical approach.
Interpret laboratory findings, imaging studies, and other diagnostic results.
Perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, including:
Spays and neuters
Mass removals
Exploratory surgeries
Soft tissue procedures
Perform routine and advanced dental procedures, including extractions and oral surgery.
Manage hospitalized patients and coordinate referral care when required.
Maintain accurate, detailed, and compliant medical records.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and ongoing care.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
Participate in case discussions and contribute to a positive team environment.
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Massachusetts.
DEA license or ability to obtain upon hire.
USDA accreditation or ability to obtain within required timeframes.
Comfortable performing anesthesia and routine surgical procedures.
Strong diagnostic, medical, and communication skills.
