Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will:
Provide high-quality veterinary care across a varied small and large animal caseload.
Diagnose and treat illnesses, diseases, and injuries across multiple species.
Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.
Perform veterinary surgical procedures within their clinical capabilities.
Provide dental examinations and treatment.
Manage routine, urgent, and emergency veterinary cases.
Participate in limited rotating emergency coverage.
Prescribe medications and provide ongoing case management.
Deliver preventive healthcare and client education.
Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care requirements.
Collaborate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary support professionals.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
Continue developing clinical capabilities across mixed animal medicine and surgery.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent and possess, or be eligible to obtain, an Arizona veterinary licence.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
One or more years of veterinary experience preferred
