Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for small animal patients

  • Perform diagnostics, develop treatment plans, and manage a diverse caseload

  • Educate pet owners on wellness, preventative medicine, and treatment recommendations

  • Collaborate closely with veterinary colleagues and support staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes

  • Support team development through mentorship, coaching, and knowledge sharing

  • Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and operational excellence

  • Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, communication, and continuous learning

  • Help drive practice growth and enhance the overall client and patient experience

Candidate Profile

  • DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school

  • Licensed in Massachusetts or eligible for veterinary licensure in the state

  • Strong clinical skills and commitment to high-quality patient care

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

  • Collaborative and supportive leadership style

  • Interest in mentoring team members and contributing to practice development

  • Medical Director experience is welcomed but not required

  • Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
