An opportunity is available for a Veterinarian in Springfield, Vermont, within a progressive, full-service small animal hospital offering strong clinical support, mentorship, and surgical exposure.

The practice operates from a fully renovated, modern facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technology, including endoscopy, digital full-body and dental radiography, ultrasound, PRP therapy, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory.
The hospital is supported by a dedicated and long-tenured team, including experienced veterinary technicians, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The caseload is busy and varied, offering excellent opportunities for skill development and surgical experience.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals
Perform diagnostic evaluations using advanced imaging and in-house laboratory tools
Develop and implement treatment plans and client care strategies
Deliver clear, compassionate client communication and education
Collaborate closely with a skilled technical and support team
Participate in surgical procedures and ongoing clinical development
Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
Licensed or eligible to practice in Vermont
Open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians
Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude
Motivated to grow clinically within a supportive environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $130,000 – $170,000 DOE
