An opportunity is available for a Veterinarian in Springfield, Vermont, within a progressive, full-service small animal hospital offering strong clinical support, mentorship, and surgical exposure.

This role is suitable for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with a busy and varied caseload that supports professional development in medicine, diagnostics, and surgery. The practice operates from a fully renovated, modern facility equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technology, including endoscopy, digital full-body and dental radiography, ultrasound, PRP therapy, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory.

The hospital is supported by a dedicated and long-tenured team, including experienced veterinary technicians, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive clinical environment. The caseload is busy and varied, offering excellent opportunities for skill development and surgical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care for companion animals

  • Perform diagnostic evaluations using advanced imaging and in-house laboratory tools

  • Develop and implement treatment plans and client care strategies

  • Deliver clear, compassionate client communication and education

  • Collaborate closely with a skilled technical and support team

  • Participate in surgical procedures and ongoing clinical development

  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence

Candidate Profile

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification

  • Licensed or eligible to practice in Vermont

  • Open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians

  • Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery

  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills

  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude

  • Motivated to grow clinically within a supportive environment
