The practice provides a predominantly small animal caseload, with occasional large animal cases, allowing veterinarians to develop a broad range of clinical skills while enjoying a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities
Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for companion animals.
Perform routine consultations, diagnostics and preventative healthcare.
Carry out surgical and dental procedures appropriate to experience.
Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient.
Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication.
Collaborate closely with an experienced veterinary team and support staff.
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high clinical standards.
Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an accredited university.
Eligibility for, or an active, West Virginia veterinary licence.
Confidence in general medicine, surgery and dentistry, or a desire to develop these skills through mentorship.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
New graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive structured mentorship.
DEA licence and USDA Accreditation are advantageous but not essential.
