Responsibilities

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional medical and preventative care using a relationship-based approach.

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning.

  • Manage a varied caseload of appointments and surgical procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and the local community.

  • Support the development of veterinary nurses and support staff through ongoing training and mentorship.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused hospital culture.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE programme.

  • Active veterinary licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure before starting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality small animal medicine.

  • Confidence managing medical and surgical cases, or a willingness to develop these skills through mentorship.

  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continued professional growth.
