About the Practice
This busy general practice provides a diverse caseload including preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, emergency cases and advanced surgical procedures.
The practice is equipped with modern technology including digital radiography, dental radiography, in-house laboratory equipment, a dedicated surgical suite and access to travelling ultrasonography services, allowing veterinarians to deliver high-quality medical and surgical care.
With an average daily caseload of 17–20 patients and an experienced support team operating at approximately a 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio, veterinarians are well supported to focus on delivering excellent clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical and preventative healthcare for companion animals.
Perform wellness examinations, diagnostics and treatment planning.
Carry out soft tissue surgical and dental procedures.
Build long-term relationships with clients through excellent communication and education.
Collaborate closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Support continuous improvement and uphold high clinical standards.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Eligibility for veterinary licensure in Maryland.
A compassionate, client-focused approach to veterinary medicine.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
An interest in surgery.
An interest in shelter medicine is welcomed.
