Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient examinations and medical work-ups.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Carry out routine and advanced surgical procedures.
Provide high-quality dental care and diagnostics.
Educate clients on preventative healthcare and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Prescribe medications while following controlled substance protocols.
Work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
Assist with maintaining clinical protocols and hospital standards.
Participate in case discussions, rounds, and continuing education.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Active Connecticut Veterinary License (or eligibility to obtain one).
DEA registration or ability to obtain one.
At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
Strong medical, diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
