About the Role
A veterinary practice is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join its established team in Yuma, Arizona.
The position offers an excellent $150,000–$200,000 annual salary plus production bonuses, alongside sign-on incentives, relocation assistance, no negative accrual and student loan support of up to $100,000.
This is a varied clinical opportunity encompassing general practice, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, mixed animal medicine, exotics and orthopaedics. Veterinarians benefit from a 3:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio, flexible scheduling and strong clinical autonomy.

About the Practice
This is a busy, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital that has served the Yuma community for more than 30 years.
The practice operates from a spacious 10,000-square-foot facility with six examination rooms, a dedicated dental suite and excellent staff facilities.
Veterinarians have access to an impressive range of clinical technology, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory equipment, a surgical laser and CT.
The hospital sees approximately 20 patients per day and manages a varied caseload spanning wellness, surgery, dentistry and urgent care, alongside opportunities to work with mixed animal, exotic and orthopaedic cases.
An experienced team of veterinary professionals supports a collaborative, teaching-focused culture where doctors are encouraged to practise with medical autonomy while having access to mentorship and wider clinical resources.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical, preventive, surgical and dental care to a varied veterinary caseload.
Perform physical examinations, diagnostic investigations and medical work-ups and develop individualised treatment plans.
Manage routine wellness appointments alongside urgent and more complex clinical presentations.
Perform general surgical and dental procedures, with opportunities to develop additional clinical interests.
Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment, including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory testing and CT.
Build lasting relationships with clients through compassionate communication and effective education.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient medical records.
Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians, nurses, client service professionals and fellow veterinarians to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
Participate in mentorship, continuing education and ongoing professional development.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university and hold, or be eligible to obtain, the appropriate veterinary licence.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to developing strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Excellent communication and client education skills are important, alongside a collaborative approach and commitment to continued clinical development.
