Responsibilities
Provide advanced medical oncology consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Manage a diverse caseload of complex oncology referrals
Collaborate closely with specialists across multiple disciplines
Develop and deliver treatment plans including chemotherapy and multimodal cancer therapies
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options
Contribute to clinical discussions, case rounds, and multidisciplinary care planning
Support mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the wider veterinary team
Maintain high standards of evidence-based medicine and clinical governance
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
Board-Certified in Medical Oncology or Residency-Trained (or equivalent eligibility)
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification holder
Eligible for licensure in Nebraska, USA
