Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced medical oncology consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning

  • Manage a diverse caseload of complex oncology referrals

  • Develop and deliver treatment plans including chemotherapy and multimodal cancer therapies

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options

  • Contribute to clinical discussions, case rounds, and multidisciplinary care planning

  • Support mentorship and knowledge-sharing within the wider veterinary team

  • Maintain high standards of evidence-based medicine and clinical governance

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Board-Certified in Medical Oncology or Residency-Trained (or equivalent eligibility)

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification holder

  • Eligible for licensure in Nebraska, USA
