This is a state-of-the-art specialty and emergency referral hospital in Omaha, providing 24-hour care and serving as a major regional centre for advanced veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures
Manage complex referral surgical cases from diagnosis through post-operative care
Collaborate with emergency, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and critical care teams
Deliver high-quality perioperative planning and anaesthesia coordination
Communicate clearly with clients regarding surgical options, risks, and outcomes
Participate in multidisciplinary case rounds and clinical discussions
Support mentorship and development of junior veterinary surgeons and support staff
Maintain high standards of evidence-based surgical practice and clinical governance
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
Board-Certified or Residency-Trained in Veterinary Surgery (or equivalent)
A qualified Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Eligible for licensure in Nebraska, USA
A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative referral environment
Passionate about delivering advanced, high-quality surgical care

Confident communicator with strong client-facing and interpersonal skills
