Location: Biloxi, Mississippi
Schedule: Full-time or Part-time (Swing & Overnight Shifts)
Compensation: $180,000 to $200,000 salary range + shift differentials

A leading 24/7 veterinary hospital in Biloxi, Mississippi is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their high-performing team. This role focuses on swing and overnight emergency care, offering exposure to a wide range of urgent and critical cases.

About the Practice
This multi-doctor emergency hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to support advanced diagnostics and critical care, including in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, radiology, a full in-house pharmacy, continuous monitoring, and a modern surgical suite.
The team operates in a highly collaborative environment, focused on delivering exceptional patient care while supporting ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload.
Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop effective treatment plans.
Carry out emergency surgical procedures as required.
Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Participate in continuing education to stay current with emergency medicine advancements.
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent from an accredited university.
Active (or eligible) Mississippi veterinary license.
Previous emergency or critical care experience preferred but not required.
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, multi-doctor environment.
Excellent communication skills and commitment to client care.
Open to both experienced veterinarians and those looking to transition into emergency medicine.
