Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat emergency and critical care patients
Perform emergency surgical procedures, including soft tissue surgeries
Conduct diagnostic investigations including ultrasound, radiography, laboratory testing, and biopsies
Perform endoscopic procedures where appropriate
Develop diagnostic and treatment plans for emergency cases
Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners regarding diagnoses and treatment options
Prepare and discuss treatment estimates
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
Provide discharge instructions and preventative care guidance
Collaborate with veterinary nurses, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
Passion for emergency and critical care medicine
Experience performing emergency surgeries and emergency procedures
Endoscopy experience is advantageous
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency setting
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
