Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive emergency examinations and diagnostic investigations.

  • Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical and surgical emergency cases.

  • Administer medications, pain management, and emergency therapies.

  • Collaborate closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.

  • Participate in overnight emergency coverage and urgent patient care.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, confident veterinarian who enjoys emergency medicine and works well within a collaborative team environment.

Applicants should possess:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent veterinary degree.

  • Eligibility to practise veterinary medicine in Georgia.

  • Experience in emergency medicine or a strong interest in emergency and critical care.

  • Confidence performing emergency surgical procedures.

  • Excellent clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
