Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care and treatment for small animal patients.
Diagnose and manage illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions.
Perform surgical procedures, wound management, and emergency interventions.
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
Operate diagnostic equipment, including CT and laboratory systems.
Complete accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with veterinary specialists when needed.
Educate pet owners on preventative care, treatment options, and animal health.
Participate in hospital meetings, clinical discussions, and professional development activities.
Support a positive, professional, and collaborative hospital culture.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent qualification.
A current California veterinary licence.
At least one year of experience as an Emergency Veterinarian, Associate Veterinarian, Veterinary Specialist, or Emergency Clinician.
Strong emergency medicine and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and client service abilities.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
