Salary: $140,000 – $180,000 base salary plus production (average earnings approx. $300,000/year)

Responsibilities
Provide immediate assessment and treatment of emergency and critical care patients
Perform diagnostic evaluations including physical examinations, imaging, bloodwork, and biopsies
Develop and implement treatment plans for emergency cases
Perform emergency surgical procedures, including soft tissue surgery
Conduct endoscopic procedures where appropriate
Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to pet owners
Prepare and review treatment estimates with clients
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Deliver aftercare instructions and preventative health advice
Collaborate with veterinary nurses, technicians, and clinicians to ensure high-quality patient care
Support a positive, team-oriented clinical environment
Candidate Profile
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
Strong interest in emergency and critical care medicine
Experience or willingness to develop skills in emergency surgery and endoscopy
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment
