Digital radiography with specialist interpretation support
Telemetry ECG monitoring
In-house CBC, chemistry, blood gas, and endocrine testing
Quantitative cPL/fPL and proBNP testing
In-house inflammatory marker testing
D-dimer testing
Point-of-care ultrasound
Advanced surgical equipment including cautery and vessel sealing technology
Modern practice management and workflow systems
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency and urgent care services for small animal patients
Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide variety of emergency presentations
Develop treatment plans and communicate recommendations effectively to clients
Perform emergency procedures and stabilisation as required
Collaborate closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinical culture
Support continuous improvement and high clinical standards throughout the hospital
Candidate Profile
DVM/VMD degree (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school
Licensed in Massachusetts or eligible for veterinary licensure in the state
Interest or experience in emergency and urgent care medicine
Strong diagnostic, clinical, and decision-making skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and client service abilities
Team-focused attitude with a collaborative approach to patient care
Emergency experience is beneficial, though veterinarians with a strong interest in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply
