Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for:
Providing high-quality veterinary care for small animal patients
Managing wellness, medical, and surgical cases
Performing diagnostics and developing treatment plans
Conducting dental and surgical procedures
Communicating effectively with clients and educating them on care options
Building lasting relationships with patients, clients, and the local community
Collaborating with veterinary colleagues and support staff
Maintaining excellent standards of patient care and clinical medicine
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
A DVM degree or equivalent veterinary qualification
Active Texas veterinary licence or eligibility to obtain one
Experience in small animal general practice
Interest or experience in mixed animal medicine is welcomed
Confidence managing medical and surgical cases
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
