Role Overview
The Veterinary Surgeon will deliver high-quality first-opinion care, working across consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures. The role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to follow cases through with strong continuity of care.
Facilities & Equipment
The practice is well-equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical tools, including:
Digital X-ray
Ultrasound
In-house laboratory
Endoscopy
Access to CT and orthopaedic equipment
Key Responsibilities
Conduct consultations and case work-ups
Perform routine surgical procedures
Deliver preventative and medical care
Provide excellent client communication
Maintain high clinical and welfare standards
Work collaboratively within the clinical team
Working Pattern
Full-time or part-time hours available
Shared weekend rota
In-house OOH rota included
Candidate Requirements
MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
Experience in small animal practice preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proactive and patient-focused approach
Interest in developing clinical skills
