The Opportunity
An independent small animal practice near Radlett is looking to recruit an experienced Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly and supportive team. This role offers a varied caseload within a well-equipped, modern practice environment focused on high clinical standards and patient care.
The position would suit an experienced RVN with at least 3 years’ experience who is confident taking on leadership responsibility within a close-knit team.
The Role
This is a hands-on Head RVN position covering clinical nursing, team support, patient care, theatre work, diagnostics, and day-to-day organisation. Clinical Coach experience would be ideal, although not essential.
You will work as part of a small, supportive team and help maintain high standards across nursing care, workflow, and client communication.
The Practice
You will be joining a well-equipped practice based in a rural shopping village setting, with ample free parking and excellent local amenities. Facilities include in-house blood machines, ultrasound, digital full-body and dental X-rays, a bespoke dental room, Class IV laser therapy, climate-controlled rooms, electric tables, and heated prep and theatre tables.
