About the Practice
The practice provides a supportive and collaborative environment where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop the clinical offering and build strong relationships with clients and patients.
The practice is well equipped with:
Digital X-ray
Dental X-ray
Ultrasound
In-house laboratory facilities
Additional advanced diagnostics, including CT and endoscopy, are available through the wider veterinary network.
You will be supported by an experienced local team including a Practice Manager, Registered Veterinary Nurse, Head Veterinary Nurse, Veterinary Care Assistants, and colleagues from nearby practices.

Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinary Surgeon, your responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional clinical care across consultations and surgical procedures
Leading and developing the clinical direction of the practice
Taking ownership of patient care standards and clinical decision-making
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Developing tailored treatment plans in partnership with clients
Supporting and mentoring the wider veterinary team
Maintaining high standards of clinical governance and regulatory compliance
Working collaboratively with the wider veterinary community
Sharing knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
A qualified MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
Confident making independent clinical decisions
Passionate about delivering outstanding patient and client care
Experienced or interested in leading and developing a practice
A strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills
Motivated by the opportunity to influence practice growth and future direction

The successful candidate will receive:
Salary: Up to £68,000 per annum
Lead Vet Bonus Scheme offering up to an additional 20% of earnings
