Responsibilities
The Managing Clinical Director will:
Leadership & Culture
Serve as the clinical leader and cultural driver for the hospital
Oversee and support Associate Veterinarians
Promote teamwork, engagement, and staff retention
Create a positive and collaborative workplace environment
Mentorship & Talent Development
Mentor veterinarians and support staff through structured growth plans
Assist with recruiting and developing veterinary professionals
Encourage ongoing learning and clinical advancement
Operational Oversight
Improve workflows, client service processes, and hospital efficiency
Monitor key performance indicators, including financial performance, team engagement, and client satisfaction
Collaborate with leadership teams on staffing, compliance, and operational initiatives
Use performance data to support informed decision-making
Clinical Excellence
Ensure exceptional standards of veterinary care are maintained
Support the use of advanced equipment and clinical resources
Build lasting relationships with clients and patients
Maintain a reduced clinical caseload while providing medical leadership
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Active veterinary licence in good standing
Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience
Strong leadership and communication abilities
Passion for mentoring and developing veterinary teams
Ability to evaluate operational data and implement improvements
Commitment to excellent patient care and client service

Compensation & Benefits
