Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and diagnostic care for companion animals
Lead and support the veterinary and support teams in a management capacity
Diagnose and treat disease and injury using clinical examination and diagnostic tools
Perform surgery and prescribe appropriate treatment plans
Advise clients on preventative care, treatment options, and end-of-life decisions
Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
Promote and uphold veterinary ethics and clinical standards
Foster a positive, collaborative team environment
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
Licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana
Eligible for DEA/BNDD registration
Strong clinical skills in diagnostics, medicine, and surgery
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Confident, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to care
Leadership capability or readiness to step into a Managing Veterinarian role
Physically able to handle clinical responsibilities, including lifting patients with assistance when required
