Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care to companion animals
Lead and support the veterinary team with professionalism and clinical confidence
Establish, maintain, and improve medical protocols and standards of care
Collaborate with operational leadership on hospital performance and growth
Act as a clinical mentor and promote a positive, high-performing team culture
Support continuous improvement in patient care and client experience
Candidate Profile
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York State
Several years of small animal clinical experience (required)
Strong diagnostic, surgical, and client communication skills
Proven leadership ability or strong interest in a Medical Director role
Confident working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
DEA certification and USDA accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 DOE + performance-based compensation
