Position: Full-Time Medical Director Veterinarian
Schedule: Full-Time | 30-minute appointments
Practice Type: Small Animal General Practice
Experience Required: 4+ years in a clinical veterinary setting
Compensation: Base salary (ranging from $175,000 – $200,000) + production bonus
Additional Incentives: Signing bonus available + Medical Director stipend

Responsibilities

The Medical Director Veterinarian will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional veterinary care for small animal patients

  • Supporting and mentoring veterinary team members

  • Helping maintain high standards of medical quality and patient care

  • Providing clinical guidance and leadership within the practice

  • Performing wellness examinations, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry

  • Collaborating with the team to improve workflows and patient outcomes

  • Supporting a positive, team-focused workplace culture

  • Building strong relationships with clients and the local community

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A DVM degree or equivalent veterinary qualification

  • Active Texas veterinary licence or ability to obtain one

  • 4+ years of experience working in a veterinary clinical setting

  • Confidence performing soft tissue surgery and dentistry

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

  • A passion for mentoring and supporting veterinary professionals

  • A positive, team-oriented approach to practice leadership
