Responsibilities
The Medical Lead Veterinarian will:
Lead and mentor associate veterinarians, supporting clinical and professional development
Maintain and model high standards of medical care and client service
Partner with the Practice Manager to drive hospital performance and team engagement
Support financial and operational goals, including budgeting and performance metrics
Ensure compliance with all medical, legal, and regulatory standards
Facilitate regular clinical meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to recruitment, mentorship, and externship programs
Engage with the local community as a representative of the hospital
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced veterinarian with a passion for leadership and clinical excellence.
Requirements include:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Active veterinary license in good standing
Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
